pretty foods: zhichar Fried Rice

Once in a while The Parents decide that the Family will have Fried Rice for dinner two days in a row, and because it involves a bit of preparation, one Parent will leave out the spoons and take out the aluminium foil whilst the other Parent will head downstairs armed with special boxes for the eggs.

What's makes this Fried Rice meal special is that we don't just tapao from the zhichar stall and then eat. We add our own ingredients that we have already in the fridge, and so, besides the additional fried eggs, we've got lettuce, cherry tomatoes, sausages, meatballs and fishballs, making a typical Fried Rice not so typical anymore.

Not just that, we get to load ketchup, chili sauce or additional sesame oil if only for the fragrance and the feels.
