This was one of those times when getting to Bangkok turned out to be more adventurous than I hoped it would be.
It wasn't that the flight was delayed.
No, nothing of that sort.
Just that I had caregiving stuff in the afternoon and so could not check in at the stipulated 2 hours before the 6.10pm flight.
So we did an early check-in at 1030am, which then resulted in us discovering that one of our luggage was in excess of 4kg, and so became a frantic rush to re-sort and pack things into my small pink suitcase so that we needn't pay extra, and still

So we did an early check in at 1030am, and to our surprise, realized that we had an excess baggage of 4kg and it was a frantic rush to re-sort and pack things into my pink suitcase so it could be stored, and taken as a carry-on.
I'm thankful that the flight departed, and landed, on time.
We got to Bangkok 725pm local time, and after doing a phone call, had a quick Burger King dinner at the airport before heading to our hotel at Doubletree by Hilton Bangkok Ploenchit.
Interesting location this hotel was at, really, on 12 Sukhumvit 2 in the Khlong Toei area, and a popular one it was too.
We reached the hotel probably around 9, or 10pm local time (I can't remember now), and the lobby was filled with different groups sitting here and there. There were people having moderately loud conversations with each other at in-house restaurant OPEN, there were people standing around talking to each other, and there were people holding business meetings over their phone.
I liked that we didn't have to wait too long for check-in.
After we got our room, I wanted to have a bath, and a bit of rest, but then again, considering all the effort put in to come here, it felt a little silly to go to bed right upon arrival, so out we went towards the direction of Nana for a foot massage.
It lasted 1.5 hours.
And it was 2am when I finally managed to get to sleep.
